Support Komani’s own food blogger, Thuli….and stand a chance to win!

A FORMER Komani resident, Thuli Golela, who is now based in Cape Town, has appealed to locals to vote for her in a Master Chef-style competition where she will be competing with three other food bloggers.

Voters stand a chance to win R10 000.

Lauren Mendoza of Corporate Image said the first round of the competition started last week with Golela along with Port Elizabeth’s Khanya Mzongwana being introduced to the public. The theme of the competition is “Low and slow”.

Mendoza said “mystery boxes” were sent to the duo this week with ingredients to develop recipes.

“They had to prepare a dish in the comfort of their own kitchen and submit some images of them busy preparing the ingredients as well as of the final dishes. People can vote on https://facebook.com/CastleMilkStout.SAB/ from February 16 until noon on February 22 for what they think is the best dish… They stand the chance of winning R10 000.”

Mendoza said the winner would be announced on February 23, with the next round starting on February 27.

Once the winner of the second round is announced, the two winning bloggers will go head to head starting on March 15 for the title of Stout Chef, which will be announced on March 30.
