A YOUNG man from Newvale in Dordrecht has appealed to prospective employers to give him a job as he is struggling to take care of his two younger siblings without a stable family income since the death of the parents.
Sisa Sentiwe, 25, said his father died in 2013 after working in the mines. His mother had been unemployed at the time. While the family survived for a while on insurance money and pay-outs from the company for which his father had worked, tragedy struck again earlier this year, when Sentiwe’s mother died.
“I studied business management at Ikhala College until N4 but had to drop out when the money was finished. I also have a security certificate. I passed with a C-symbol.”
He said it was hard seeing his sisters – one in Grade 8 and the other in Grade 10 – suffering. He said as he was qualified to work as a security guard or work on computers, he was desperate to land a job to improve their lives. He can be contacted on 078-868 0187.
